Winchester College's fine collection of more than 80 classical Greek vases is catalogued in this volume. Among the Athenian vases are a beautiful black figure hydra wih Herakles and Cerberus from the Canino collection, the Winchester Painter's eponymous cup, and vases attributed to the Berlin Painterand the Classical Washing Painter.
